Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei (Taipei, Taiwan) Review

Hello, Happy Dream Life here. Today, I will review my stay at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel located in Taipei, Taiwan.

The Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotel was established in the 1970s as a five-star hotel. It's a huge hotel with hotel chains all over the world. It is sad that there is no Shangri-La in Korea. I know that there is a hotel with the same name in Jeju Island, but I think it has nothing to do with the Shangri-La Hotel based in Hong Kong. If I am wrong, please let me know in the comments. The hotel I stayed in was also a five-star hotel. The room I stayed in was the Plaza Suite, so I could use the Horizon Club.

I arrived at the hotel.

We went up to the 36th floor to check in as the Horizon Club was located in the 36th floor. 

I have arrived at the Horizon Club on the 36th floor. I checked in comfortably. They serve welcome drinks while checking in.

I completed the check-in and entered the Horizon Club. It was similar to the airport business/first-class lounge.

As you can see in the picture, Taipei 101 Tower is clear. The view was pretty good.

We've been assigned the 34th floor.

I'm in my room. We saw Taipei 101 tower clearly in our room, and the view was quite good.

The bathroom was quite luxurious.

It was a bedroom. It was neat.

It's dinnertime and I'm back on the Horizon Club. Basically, Horizon Club offers you something like a drink, and in the evening, you can see in the picture, it provides you with something to eat. The service was really like an airport business/first class. The food was mostly Chinese, but I was satisfied.

After dinner, I visited the swimming pool at the top.

I came here to have a buffet for breakfast after a good night's sleep.

As you can see in the picture, there were so many different kinds of foods.

I ate a lot of different foods.

I really ate the food with satisfaction.

I always go to the gym to exercise when I visit the hotel. The facility was not up to date, but it was quite large with the shower. It was convenient because there was a shopping mall and food court like a department store in the basement. Personally, I liked Taipei more than Kaohsiung because it was a city.

 

 

Summary: It was as comfortable as a five-star hotel. Personally, I like the Shangri-La hotel, so I stay at the Shangri-La hotel often when I go abroad. Personally, I would like to give five out of five.
