BMW M Taxi

 

BMW Driving Center, located near Incheon International Airport, runs several programs, and the program I participated in is M Taxi. The program will run for 10 minutes, and you will ride and enjoy the vehicle immediately without further introduction. The vehicle is not selectable, and the program amount depends on the number of occupants. For example, 40,000 Korean won if you ride alone. 50,000 won if you ride two or more people. As you can see in the name of the program, it is a program that sits on the passenger seat like a taxi and experiences a proper "Total Taxi" because it is a taxi of BMW's high-performance version of M.

 

 

I made a reservation for the program in advance. When you arrive, you must confirm and sign the BMW Driving Center Driving Program Experience Agreement as shown in the picture above. Then you will receive the necklace below, and you can take the necklace home without having to return it after the program is completed.

 

 

 

The program will be the driver's discretion. I saw a lot of reviews before I got on the M-taxi. As much as I had high expectations, it was a lot of fun. At the first turn, the driver briefly explained how it would proceed, and immediately started running without any problems with the full axel. Since it was M5, the acceleration was considerable and I thought it was more fun than scary. However, as I went around the curve with a sudden brake every curve, I thought it would be uncomfortable for people with light body and small body to shake a lot. Also, since there are a lot of curves, I think it would be inconvenient for people who ate before boarding M-cab or have carsickness.

I personally didn't feel that much speed when I was drift, but I just admired the driver's driving skills. Since he is such an expert, he keeps checking my condition and drives leisurely, and I even wanted to participate in a drift program at BMW later on. The program period is 10 minutes, but it was regrettable that it ended in a few laps, and what would it have been like if there were other M-taxi options such as the M8 and M4?

Summary: The program itself was very satisfying. BMW M5 cars were so much fun. I want to give 5 points, but I am sorry that the program period is too short and that there is no option to choose a car, so I personally want to give 4 out of 5.
