Hello, Happy Dream Life here. Today, I will share the list of Michelin Starred Restaurants ranged from 1-star to 3-star in South Korea.
Michelin Starred Restaurant
Dining and restaurants. Especially for those of you who are interested in Fine Dining, you've heard of Michelin Restaurant. Wait a minute. You've heard of Michelin somewhere else, haven't you? Yes, it's the tire company. But it's very strange. Why do the tire company publish lists of high-end restaurants around the world and the restaurants try so hard to win the Michelin star?
History of Michelin Restaurant
To understand the Michelin Guide, you first need to know how it came out. The Michelin Guide has a long history since it was published 100 years ago. Because it is updated every year, even restaurants that have acquired a Michelin star have to be nervous every year. Now, back to the point, Michelin Tire Company considered a number of ways to increase the company's revenue and growth of the company after the company's establishment. One of them is the Michelin Guide. In other words, they publish a free guidebook to encourage people to drive. The guidebook contains a lot of useful information that encourages people to drive, such as how to change tires and where the good restaurants are located, etc. As Michelin tire company has grown for more than 100 years, their reputation for Michelin guides has increased worldwide. In 1926, the Michelin Guide stared to rate the restaurants, and in 1936, the restaurant was subdivided from one star to three stars. For those of you who are interested in Michelin guide, Michelin 3-star is the best restaurant, and the lower the number, the lower the level. That doesn't mean that Michelin 1-star restaurants, on average, have a bad atmosphere or taste. Michelin 1-star restaurant is also a great restaurant because it is very hard to get a Michelin 1-star.

You can see that all Michelin starred restaurants are located in Seoul. It would be great to have Michelin starred restaurants in other cities such as Busan and Jeju Island to encourage domestic and foreign travelers to visit not only Seoul but also other places in Korea to promote Korea's beauty globally and revive the local economy.
Have a great day.
