These days, there are limited places to go because of Covid 19. The number of people who go on a hotel vacation is steadily increasing. Recently, the vaccinations have begun and more and more people are going outdoors because they feel stable. Gangnam and COEX are always crowded. COEX alone has many five-star hotels, such as Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, Oakwood Premier COEX Center, and Intercontinental Seoul COEX hotel. If you are thinking about staying in Gangnam area and looking for the cost-effectiveness, you may consider intercontinental Seoul COEX.
As you can see from the map above, the hotel location is near Bongeunsa Station.
I arrived at the hotel. It stands out that it's five-star.
After checking in, I am walking toward the assigned room.
Room
Rooms include Superior room, Park View room, Temple View room, Ondol room, Club Superior, Business suite, Club Ambassador suite, Club Presidential suite, and Corner suite.
Superior
When I enter the room, there are gowns and slippers like any other hotel. But I was very sad because the slippers seemed old.
It's a view of Bongeunsa Temple that comes out when you enter the room. In the busy city center, temples and green trees make you feel at ease.
On the right, you can see the Han River far away.
This is the view in the room that comes out when you open the door. I didn't feel the size was small or big.
The bed was pretty soft and nice.
There is a desk in the room, so it will be easy for those who come to Gangnam for a business meeting.
There are coffee machines and so on.
Personally, I don't really eat the things in the refrigerator at any hotel, but most of the time it's full of drinks, but as you can see in the picture, it looked a bit empty.
It was amazing that there were so many products in the hotel.
There's wine, too.
They have coffee and tea.

I don't think there's much difference in other room types, so I'll look at the Club Presidential Suite right away.

In the case of Intercontinental Seoul COEX hotel, maybe because it was old, it felt more like a friendly and warm house rather than luxurious.
The view is good.
Rather than luxury, it feels more comfortable like a normal house.
It's inside the bathroom.
Cosmopolitan Fitness Club
There are people who are considering buying a membership at the hotel fitness club to exercise, and those who are considering buying the membership at the Cosmopolitan fitness club, you can refer to it.
First of all, you can borrow sneakers if you didn't bring them with you.

There's also a business lounge.
The size of the fitness club was pleasant and big.

Summary: The first impression was that the interior was very old even though it was five-star. From the moment I first saw the slippers, I doubted if they were 5 stars, including the bathroom. However, I want to give 4 out of 5 because I want to give you a high score considering the low price and cost-effectiveness compared to other 5-star hotels nearby. It would be great to remodel the interior later. Fitness was nice because it was spacious and pleasant.
