The Josun Palace Seoul Gangnam hotel was built in Gangnam, the center of Seoul, to show what true luxury is by introducing Josun Hotel & Resort's top brand - Josun Palace.
It is a hotel that shows the ambitious dream and effort to show what luxury is in partnership with the Marriott Hotel's luxury collection.
Let's review Josun Palace Seoul Gangnam.
As you can see on the map above, the hotel is located between Yeoksam Station and Seolneung Station. There are probably people who feel uncomfortable because the subway station is not connected right away.
The exterior of the hotel is neat. And I could feel that the interior was really luxurious and that Josun Palace paid a lot of attention.
However, there were a lot of room for improvement in the view. Personally, I like the Han River view and city view, but the Han River view from the Josun Palace did not meet my expectation. People who enjoyed the city view at hotels in New York or downtown Chicago would have a similiar opinion as mine.
Personally, if you stay at a hotel located in Gangnam, you can feel that Gangnam has developed a lot, but when you look from top, there are still many places to develop.
I got a notice when I check-in.
I feel good that the room key also says The Luxury Collection.
Room
Rooms include State, Masters, Grand Masters, Grand Masters Bay, Master Junior Suite, Master Suite, Grand Master Suite, Josun Masters Suite, and Josun Grand Masters Suite.
State
This is the most basic room in the hotel - state room. Despite the lowest level of room, it was quite large and luxurious.
Other rooms have their own charms, but I don't feel special personally, so I'll look at the Josun Grand Masters Suite room right away.
Josun Grand Masters Suite Room
Personally, I like to see the lowest and highest levels of rooms in terms of what hotels are pursuing. The room type between the lowest and the highest levels may match the needs of certain customers, but the lowest levels may be the cheapest, and the highest and the most expensive room type may show the ultimate value of the hotel.
Most five-star hotels have the highest and the most expensive class room types, but each hotel has its own unique feel, and Josun Palace Seoul Gangnam has a strong modern future-oriented and unique feel.
Summary: The interior, room size, service, and luxury are impeccably the best. If I were to pick one of the best hotels in Korea as of 2021, I think I could personally pick the Josun Palace Seoul Gangnam. However, the hotel location is not connected to the subway and the view was not great; therefore, I personally want to give it 4 out of 5.
Constans - (Buffet)
Constans is located on the 24th floor of the hotel.
Usually, in the evening, it is divided into two parts, and before entering, guests receive a key and line up to enter one after another. The food composition is diverse, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, Korean, and dessert, and I felt that the restaurant paid a lot of attention to each dish and personally liked the taste.
I'm very satisfied, so I'm definitely willing to revisit.
Summary: Each and every dish was to my taste. However, I would like to give 4 out of 5 because some fried foods are a bit disappointing because they are not crispy.
