Hello, Happy Dream Life is here. Today, I will share my personal experience at JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead and Marta subway in Atlanta, GA.

JW Marriott Hotel in Korea is a 5-star hotel; however, JW Marriott Hotel in Atlanta, USA is a 4-star hotel.

First of all, let's start with the hotel video.

 

 

 

 

 

 

When you visit Atlanta, you will usually visit CNN or Coca-Cola. There are many Korean automakers near Atlanta, so there are many Koreans.

The hotel is located in the north of the airport as you can see on the map above.

It takes about 30 minutes from the airport without traffic and about an hour with traffic.

Let's review the room.

 

 

 

Room & Fitness Center & Pool

 

Rooms are largely composed of guest rooms, deluxe guest rooms, and suites.

Actually, there's not much difference between guest room, deluxe guest room, and suite room, so I'll just look at the guest room

Since it's a four-star hotel, it's not very luxurious, but it's very clean and neat hotel.

 

 

Fitness Center and Pool

 

 

Fitness center and pool are also in normal condition.

 

 

Summary: Personally, Atlanta, GA is a boring city for me. JW Marriott is a five-star hotel in Korea, so there is a luxury hotel that I expect from JW Marriott, but I would like to give a 3 out of 5 because it is not up to that.

 

 

 

 

Marta Subway

 

 

 

When you take the subway in any city in the U.S., you can't expect a pleasant and clean environment. Usually, people in the U.S. take Uber, taxi, or Lyft from the airport to the hotel or elsewhere. The cost of the Atlanta subway is much lower than that of Uber, taxi, and Lyft. What I felt after riding it was that I should never take it in the evening. You are able to purchase one way, round trip, and a few days of tickets. I bought one way ticket, which costs US$3.5 as of 2024. When I got on the subway in the evening, I was very displeased with the homeless and the strange smell of the passengers vibrating because it seemed they didn't wash too much. There were some people doing things that they shouldn't do and people were saying weird things on the subway.

My first image toward Marta subway was very bad, so I don't know what it would be like if I took the subway during the day or in the morning, but personally, I felt that I should never take the subway in the United States from next time on.

Summary: I don't think I'll ever ride it again. Personally, I'd like to give zero point out of 5.
