There are many five-star hotels in Seoul, but the only one near Myeongdong Station is Le Meridien Seoul Myeongdong. Although there is a Lotte Hotel nearby, it is closer to Euljiro Entrance Station. It is unlikely that Koreans would stay at Le Meridien Seoul Myeongdong for leisure unless they are on a business trip near Myeongdong Station from other provinces. Since Myeongdong is mainly visited by foreigners, I believe today's writing will be helpful to them.

Le Méridien Seoul, Myeongdong Location
As you can see on the map above, the hotel is located near Myeongdong Station, about a 5-minute walk away. If you drive, you might find the hotel entrance a bit narrow, which can be slightly inconvenient. However, the parking space was spacious and comfortable, perhaps due to fewer visitors.
The hotel is situated in a mixed-use building shared with Mokshi Seoul Myeongdong, a three-star hotel popular among young people for its trendy vibe. Upon arrival, I entered through the basement and took the elevator to the 4th floor to check in. The lobby felt a bit small.

Now, let's review the room in detail.
Room & Club Lounge & Fitness Center & Pool
For rooms, it consists of deluxe, suite, executive, le Meridian, and le salon suites.
Le Salon suite
The Le Salon suite has a kitchen as shown in the picture above
It features a very large living room.
The view was nothing special and normal. If you want a view of the Han River, you will be disappointed, and the view of the city was not that impressive.
The bedroom was fine.
The bathroom in the suite felt a bit small, and the lack of a bathtub was somewhat inconvenient. Although there were two bathrooms in total, only one had a shower.
A notable feature of the Le Salon suite is that the club lounge, gym, and swimming pool are all on the same floor, making it easy to enjoy these amenities.

The club lounge was clean
The pool was fine, too.
However, I felt that the fitness center was a little small.
Summary: I believe that people living in Seoul are unlikely to go on a hotel vacation in Myeong-dong due to personal preferences. However, among those coming to Seoul from other provinces or foreigners, with wealthy background might consider it. Personally, I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5.
