Ya Ge (Taipei, Taiwan) Review

Hello, Happy Dream Life here. Today, I will review a restaurant called Ya Ge located in Taipei, Taiwan that earned Michelin One Star.

Ya Ge restaurant is a Michelin one-star restaurant specializing in Chinese food. The restaurant is located inside Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Taipei.    

Just arrived in Mandarin Oriental, Taipei.    

Mandarin Oriental is a five-star hotel, so it was quite luxurious from the outside.

I stopped by the bathroom before going to the restaurant. It looks like the toilet was made of copper, and it was very luxurious.

Here's the soup. It was delicious.

Beijing Duck came out. The chef, not sure if he is chef, cut it nicely in front of us so that we could enjoy it comfortably.

All the food was flawless and delicious. Food and wine were all the best.

Here's some crab food. I can't say anything else about this food, but it was really delicious.

When you open a silver crab, you get food that looks like it's ground crab.

Veggies were tasty as well. 

I finished main course with fried rice.

We had dessert. The food was perfect without a single complaint.

I really ate a lot. It's been a long time since I've been this happy while eating so much. The service and food were excellent enough to be willing to revisit again and again.

 

Summary: It was a restaurant where I felt that it was a restaurant that was qualified for more than Michelin one-star. I was really satisfied with everything -- food, atmosphere, and service. I think whoever goes will be satisfied. I strongly recommend you to try this restaurant if you have a chance to visit Taipei for whatever reasons. Personally, I would like to give more than 5 out of 5.
