Welcome to Happy Dream Life. Today, I will share my visit to Los Angeles, CA. 

 

Los Angeles, CA

 

It is one of the most popular cities in the U.S. where Koreans or Korean Americans live. I've personally visited Los Angeles several times. There are many advantages such as four seasons of warm weather, sea, and places closer to Korea than other cities in the U.S. As it does not rain often, I thought about this and that while looking at the dry trees. 

Beverly Hills is also popular among Koreans. It is famous for its luxurious streets. When I study English, I used to study with a drama called 90210, but 90210 is zip code. It was so popular in the U.S. that it was shown from 1990 to 2000. It's about 90210 -- a drama about wealthy children living in Beverly Hills -- and it also led to the prejudice that all Americans live in mansions like the main characters in 90210. Later, I felt that the drama was just a drama. 

This is hollywood street. Before the visit, I imagined that hollywood would be huge and expected a lot. When I visited in person, I was disappointed because it was smaller than I thought.

This is hollywood walk of fame. As you can see in the picture, there are stars engraved on the floor with their names, and I'm sure many people who work in the arts dream of having their own names engraved here.

This is when I first visited Los Angeles. As you can see, the trees are dry, and every time I go, it didn't rain so much. When I first visited Los Angeles, I was very disappointed in Korean Town. I was surprised because it was so messy, but even recently, I thought that Korea is much better than Korean Town.

 

Solvang, CA

 

Solvang is about two and a half hours drive north of Los Angeles. It is famous for its Danish architecture and wine.

Personally, I have never been to Denmark yet, but after visiting Solvang, I want to visit Denmark once. I don't want to stay here for a day, but I was in Los Angeles and I could go there for a day.

 

Calico Ghost Town, CA

 

Calico ghost town is located about two hours drive northeast of Los Angeles. When I first heard the name of the village, I was very scared. It's an abandoned mine. At first, the silver was developed in this area and the village was formed. As the price of silver fell after the fall, the villagers left and became abandoned mines.

The whole town was chilling when I walked around personally. Maybe it's because no one lives now.

It was especially chilling when I went up the village. I don't want to stay here for a day just like Solvang, but I was in Los Angeles and I had a good day's stay.

                                                                   five days

Summary: Los Angeles is a comfortable city for me. There are more Asians than the Middle East or Eastern United States, especially in Los Angeles, where many Korean-Americans live, so Koreans will feel comfortable when traveling here. If you like the natural environment, I recommend you to visit Laguna beach near Irvine, south of Los Angeles. Personally, I'd like to give five out of 5.
