[USA] Washington, D.C. Trip

Welcome back to Happy Dream Life. Today, I will share my visit to Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C.

When I first didn't know much about the United States, I thought that New York was the capital of the United States. I think it was because New York City was so famous. If you look at the map below, Washington state is located in the west, and Washington D.C. is not in Washington state, but in the east. It's the end and the end. D.C. stands for District of Columbia. They named it Washington because George Washington was the first president of the United States.

Now that I've finished my brief introduction to Washington D.C., why don't we start a visit together?

I came to Washington Union Station to take a red double-decker tour bus to Washington, D.C. Union Station is usually a railway station.

There's freedom bell in front of Washington union station.

The buildings are antique.

It's a red double-decker tour bus. Everywhere in the world, that tour bus looks similar. Google Washington DC Double Decker Tours for tour routes or if you have any other questions.

I don't feel overwhelmed or overwhelmed by skyscrapers like New York, but as you can see in the picture, they are melted by the ancient winds of European architecture.

You can see the White House. Many tourists were there to take pictures of the White House seen through the bars.

This is Jefferson Memorial. It was built to honor Thomas Jefferson. And one of his most memorable achievements is that he bought Louisiana for a bargain when he was president.

You can see the United States Capitol in the distance.

This is United States Department of the Treasure. It's a very important place to make American dollars and take charge of American budget.

You can see a familiar building in the distance. If you've seen Spider-Man Homecoming in 2017, it's the same building, Washington Monument. It was built to commemorate the dignity of George Washington. What's interesting is that if you visit Washington D.C., you can't see tall buildings like New York because there's a law that says there shouldn't be buildings higher than the Washington Monument because they were made to pay homage to Congress.

It was really high up close.

It's the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. A government agency under the U.S. Treasury Department that prints all the U.S. bills here. What's unusual is that not only Washington, D.C., but also Fort Worth, Texas, has a federal printing agency. The reason is simply because the country itself is so large that it increases its bill production, reduces logistics costs for shipping to the West, and prepares for a possible crisis in Washington, D.C.

The weather is so nice today.

The river is very calm.

If you are Korean, you must visit Washington D.C. I'm here at the Korean War Veterans Memorial.

When the 25th Infantry Division was founded, some of the money was provided by large Korean companies. I had a lot of thoughts while looking around the monument of Korean War.

This concludes my brief visit to Washington, D.C.

Happy Dream Life Recommended Travel Period: Washington D.C. Three nights

                                                                                          and four days

Summary: If you are interested in American history and politics, Washington D.C. is a must-visit city. As the capital of the United States, there are many tourist attractions. Personally, I'd like to give five out of 5.

Have a great day.
