[Gangwondo] Hangyeryeong & Sokcho Tourism and Fisheries Market

Hi, Happy Dream Life here. Today, I will share my visit to Hangyeryeong and Sokcho Tourism and Fisheries Market.

Hangyeryeong

When I visit every corner and look at the natural environment in South Korea, there are many wonderful places that are surprising and are comparable to foreign tourist attractions, so I often take pride in them. One of them is Gangwon-do. There is nothing missing, such as the sea, mountains, and rivers, and especially the Hangyeryeong, which has unique four seasons of beauty, is a place that anyone would like to visit.

I visited Hangyeryeong in winter. Usually, when you come to the Hangyeryeong rest area, there are many cars in the parking lot, but there is no car, so I could look around comfortably.

Maybe it's because it's winter, but it was really grand. It's really beautiful and cool to visit in fall or spring, and Koreans can feel that there is a place like this in Korea and take pride.

For those who like driving, I'd like to recommend it if you've already been to Hangyeryeong or have not visited it yet. The magnificent view along the winding road is truly spectacular. However, I think it will be difficult for those who don't have much experience driving due to the rough road.

Sokcho Tourism and Fisheries Market

 

If you're going sightseeing trip to the East Sea, especially Sokcho, I would recommend you to visit Sokcho Tourism and Fisheries Market. If you visit this place, there are a lot of things to eat such as sweet and sour chicken, seed hotteok, king crab, etc. Shall we go together?

You can see the famous Manseok Chicken Gangjeong in Sokcho. In case of Manseok Chicken Gangjeong, it was really delicious at first, but I don't know if it's that good anymore.

It's really quiet.

The cherry blossoms are really pretty. Since it was quiet, I was able to eat what I wanted without waiting in line. Usually, most famous places have to wait in line to eat on weekends.

 

It's seed hotteok. Seed hotteok is usually eaten in a line, but I ate it right away. It was delicious at first like Manseok Chicken Gangjeong, but as I keep eating it, I feel less delicious. Moreover, I strongly thought that I should not eat it often for my health when I look at the oil color that makes hotteok.

 

 

Summary: Gangwon-do Province, especially in the case of Hangyeryeong, it's good to go for a drive and it's a place that I personally really like because of the scenery you can enjoy while driving. Hangyeryeong, which shows different beauty in four seasons, not just the same beauty in four seasons, is a must visit place in Gangwon-do. I'm sure you'll like it no matter when you visit. If you visit Sokcho, I recommend you visit Sokcho Tourism and Fisheries Market, which has a variety of food items. Personally, I want to give 4 out of 5.
