Suspension Bridge of Gamaksan Mountain

 

There is a place I would like to recommend to those who want to enjoy hiking, suspension bridge, and the scenery near Seoul. It is the suspension bridge of Gamaksan Mountain.

 

 

Gamaksan Suspension Bridge is located near Dongducheon City outside Seoul, as shown on the map above. It would be nice to think that you are going for a drive when you want to leave for the outskirts of Seoul.

The first way up is quite steep. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the suspension bridge after parking.

Also, it's really good to go at night, so I strongly recommend you to visit at night as well.

However, parking lot is not free parking, so I recommend that those who are sensitive to costs visit by public transportation.

 

Summary: I strongly recommend it to those who want to go outside of Seoul and enjoy hiking and the scenery. If the parking lot is free, I would like to give a score 5 out of 5, but I personally want to give 4 out of 5 because it is not free.
