Cadillac Escalade (Luxury)

The Cadillac Escalade is called the King of SUV and is famous for its overwhelming size and force in the SUV market.

Let's look at the exterior first.

 

It reminds me of the robot Optimus Prime in the movie Transformers. I think it's because of the size, but if you like that kind of overwhelming feeling and force, you'll really like Cadillac Escalade.

 

The back looks dull, but it still felt overwhelming because of its size.

Now, shall we look at the performance of Cadillac Escalade?

Cadillac Escalade has the following performance.

 

Displacement: 6,162 cc

Horsepower: 426 hp

Max torque: 63.6 kg.m

Fuel efficieny: 6.5 km/l

Engine: V8  

Transmission: Auto 10

 

Displacement, 6,162 cc, is quite impressive, but I think there is a lack of horsepower and torque. It's not just a figure, but you can feel that you're lacking power while driving. Luxury models are said to be preferred by older people, and sports models are preferred by younger people.

 

Let's look at the sports models from now on.

Unlike the luxury model, the sports model has a differnt front looks, but I think it has a strong hip-hop feeling.

You have a lot of front force. If you see it in person, you'll feel overwhelmed. I highly recommend you to watch it.

It's the side view. It looks short and small in the picture, but it's quite long if you actually see it.

 

This is what it looks like inside. There is no luxury sensibility like any American car, but it feels rough.

 

This is the front view from the back seat. The ceiling is a panoramic sunroof, so it feels very open and nice.

 

 

There are sports and luxury in the Escalade model, but you can feel the lack of sensibility and the competition in size if you sit outside or inside.

 

This is the back. There's no difference from the luxury model.

 

This is the side view from the back.

 

 

Disappointing point:

- Lack of power while driving.

- Lack of sports and luxury makes it difficult to locate in suv market.

- There are inconveniences in parking because it is too big.

 

 

Summary: People who want the biggest car and who like American Muscle Car design will really like it. However, the lack of power when driving and the inconvenience of parking due to its size, makes me hesitate to buy the escalator. However, I think people who live in rural areas and need a big car will like it because they can load a lot of luggage in the car. Personally, I would like to give 4 out of 5.
