Hello, welcome to Happy Dream Life. Today, I will share my experience at Korean Air KAL Lounge at Pusan/Gimhae airport.
Pusan/Gimhae airport (PUS) Korean Air KAL Lounge
First, let’s watch a video of Korean Air’s KAL Lounge located at Busan/Gimhae Airport before starting the review.
Busan/Gimhae Airport is primarily used for domestic business trips, so it doesn’t seem to be as widely utilized unless domestic flights are necessary. Additionally, with the development of alternative transportation options like the KTX, many of the advantages that air travel once offered have diminished.
That said, we will share a review for those who use domestic flights through Busan/Gimhae Airport and for anyone curious about the Korean Air KAL Lounge.
Location
First of all, the lounge is located on the far right side of the departure hall. Keep in mind that it is on the ticketing floor, not past the security checkpoint, so be careful not to lose track of time and risk being late for your flight.
The "VIP Room VIP SUITES" sign at the entrance has a very old-fashioned look.
Interior
Inside, the lounge showed signs of aging and was of a reasonable size. The food and beverage options were not very diverse, consisting mainly of light snacks, drinks, and coffee rather than full meals. Compared to the lounge at Incheon International Airport, it appeared much smaller, likely reflecting the difference in cost.
Summary: Since domestic flights are relatively short, I debated whether it was worth paying extra for business class, especially considering the older aircraft. Perhaps that’s why the price difference between economy and business seats isn’t very significant. Personally, I would give the experience a rating of 4 out of 5.
Have a great day.
