Hello, Happy Dream Life is here. Today, I will share my review of my recent visit to Fukuoka, Japan, one of the most popular travel destinations.

Fukuoka is a city close to Korea, and flights are more affordable compared to long-distance destinations like New York City. As a result, many Koreans visit Fukuoka, and there are multiple flights available each day.

 

First, let's go over some basic travel information.

- Every time I passed by, I was surprised by how long the waiting line was. Personally, when I tried it, I found that many places in a big city had similar flavors, so I wondered if it was really worth waiting that long to eat.

How to get to Hakata Station from Fukuoka Airport :

 

There are several ways to get to Hakata Station from Fukuoka Airport, including subway, bus, and taxi. Of course, you can also rent a car, and if your hotel offers a pick-up service, you can conveniently use that as well.

 

If you take the subway, you'll need to take a free shuttle from the airport to the domestic terminal before boarding the subway. This is the cheapest and fastest option, but the transfer process can be a bit inconvenient.

 

Another recommended option is the bus, which allows you to travel directly without transfers. However, its drawback is the long wait times between departures.

 

If you take subway..

 

From the airport, head toward the 7-Eleven. You'll find a bus stop nearby—take the free shuttle from Stop 1 and get off at the domestic terminal. Once there, you'll see the subway station. Take the subway and ride to Hakata Station (Stop 2).

 

If you take a taxi..

 

If you're traveling with family or a group of friends rather than alone, taking a taxi might be a more economical option.

To call a taxi, you can use apps like Kakao Taxi, Uber, or Go Taxi, so keep these in mind for convenience.

 

One minor inconvenience in Fukuoka was that most people, including taxi drivers, did not speak fluent English. However, thanks to the excellent translation apps available today, I was able to overcome this easily using the Japanese-Korean interpretation feature.

Traveling long distances can be a bit tiring, so I highly recommend it to those looking for an international travel destination with short distances from people from Asia.
