First of all, let's watch a brief L7 Hongdae hotel video and start the review.
Hongdae is a popular destination for young people, along with the nearby Sinchon and Ewha areas. Walking around the streets of Hongdae, you can feel the youthful energy of the place. When I first visited L7 Hongdae, I expected to see many young people looking to enjoy an affordable hotel vacation. Surprisingly, however, the majority of visitors were foreigners.
L7 Hongdae Hotel Location
L7 Hongdae Hotel is a four-star hotel conveniently located near Hongik University Station, as shown on the map above.
If you’re driving, you can use the underground parking lot. However, parking spaces are limited, and the spaces are quite narrow, which can make parking inconvenient if you have a larger vehicle.
The check-in area is on the 21st floor. While the space was small and fairly ordinary, the view was pleasant and provided a nice spot to rest. However, the surrounding area lacked notable attractions immediately nearby.
Now, let’s dive into a detailed review of the room.
Room & Fitness Center & Pool
Rooms are consist of Standard, Superior, and Suite. Aside from the suite, I didn’t notice much difference between the standard and superior rooms. Considering cost-effectiveness, I felt that the standard room would be sufficient.
Pool
The pool is located on the rooftop of the 22nd floor, making it convenient and enjoyable to use."
Fitness Center
The fitness is located on the fifth floor and it was ok.
Summary: It is a four-star hotel, and I would be very satisfied if I were looking for a cost-effective option in Seoul. The hotel seems to specifically target young people and foreigners. Overall, most aspects met my expectations, so I would rate it 4 out of 5.
