Hello, welcome to Happy Dream Life blog. Today, I will review Premium Family Room at Wyndham Grand Busan Hotel located in Busan, Korea.
Wyndham Grand Busan
Address: 27, Seo-gu Lighthouse-ro, Busan

First of all, let's watch a video of the Wyndham Grand Busan Hotel and start the review.
Busan is Korea's second-largest city and attracts many Koreans as well as foreigners.
I’ve also introduced several 5-star hotels in Busan, as I often travel back and forth.

My favorite restaurants in Busan
Most of the five-star hotels in Busan are located near Haeundae, but the Wyndham Grand Busan Hotel is somewhat unexpectedly situated away from the area. I’d like to share what it’s like in general.
Wyndham Grand Busan Hotel Location
As you can see on the map above, the hotel location is located near Songdo Beach, not Haeundae, unlike other five-star hotels.
It's labeled as a five-star hotel.
The entrance is similiar to other 5 star hotels.
It was nice to be greeted by a pleasant scent as soon as I entered the lobby.
The underground parking lot had limited parking spaces, and while there were many elevators that operated efficiently by odd and even floors, there were often times when people had to wait for one.
Now, let’s get started with the room review.
Room & The Bridge Buffet & Sushi Umi Omakase & Fitness Center and Pool
The rooms are consist of Deluxe, Pemium, Executive, Ondol Suite, Corner Suite, Executive Suite,
Wyndham Suite, and Wyndham Grand Suite.
All rooms are allocated as ocean views, so it will be a good option for those who like ocean views.
Premium Family Room
It was really nice to see an ocean view like this as soon as I opened the door.
As you can see in the picture above, the bathroom was really clean.
The room size was just right.
Although it’s a trend in the hotel industry these days, the shampoo and body wash were provided in containers rather than traditional amenities. I think it’s unfortunate for those who like to take them home as samples, as they won’t be able to do so in this case.
The Bridge Buffet
The Bridge Buffet is on the 4th floor, and it felt less delicious than other five-star hotel buffets, so I was very disappointed.
Sushi Umi Omakase
Sushi Umi Omakase had a strong feeling of being cost-effective.
Pool
The pool was located on the fifth floor. It was relatively small compared to the size of the hotel, but it was still acceptable.
Fitness Center
Fitness is also located on the 5th floor, the same as the pool.
Sweatpants, sneakers, and socks were offered as free rentals to guests until the end of 2024, but starting in January 2025, they are now available for rent at a cost, so please keep that in mind.
The most surprising thing was the atmosphere in the commercial district around Songdo Beach—it wasn't very lively. There weren’t many people, and many shopping malls were empty. While it might be great for those who enjoy a quiet trip, the lack of activity in the shopping areas made for a rather dull atmosphere. There were also few restaurants around.
Summary: I really liked the neatness of the hotel, especially since it’s a five-star and newly constructed. While I was disappointed with the buffet and the lackluster commercial districts, I was satisfied with the pleasant scent, comfort, excellent service, and overall luxury that greeted me upon my arrival. Based on that, I would give it 4 out of 5 points.
Have a great day.
