The Vista Walkerhill Seoul Hotel is managed by SK Group, and the name 'Walkerhill' comes from General Walton Walker, who died during the Korean War.
What makes it unique is that three hotels are located in the same area.

The Vista Walkerhill Seoul Hotel is a five-star hotel. As shown on the map above, it is located far from Gwangnaru Subway Station, so I recommend visiting by car.
When you check in, you'll receive a paper that shows you what you can enjoy while staying at the hotel.
Now, let's take a closer look at the room.
Room & Fitness and Pool & SKYARD & The Buffett & Forest Park (Shuttle Service - Hyundai Genesis)
The rooms are mainly categorized into Deluxe and Suite. Considering cost-effectiveness, I felt that the Deluxe room alone would be sufficient.
Vista Deluxe Mountain View - Twin
The bed was comfortable. However, as soon as I entered the room, I strongly felt that the interior was outdated. It seemed to focus more on a trendy, youthful vibe rather than luxury, which I personally didn’t find very appealing.
However, I did appreciate the complimentary minibar.
The view was affected by some fine dust, but what stood out more was an obstruction that made me question why the window was designed that way.
If you look closely at the window, you can see small dots.
Pool & Fitness Center
Both the pool and fitness center are located on the third floor.
At the fitness center, sneakers can be rented for a fee, while sportswear is available for free.
I couldn’t take pictures because it was crowded, but I noticed that all the equipment was from the Technogym brand. Considering the size of the hotel, the fitness area felt a bit small, but the view was a nice touch.
The pool was simple. The children's pool and adult swimming lanes are separated, making it a great option for families with kids.
SKYARD
Skyyard is located on the 4th floor and is free for Vista Walkerhill Seoul guests.
What I enjoyed the most was the foot bath while admiring the view of the Han River.
It instantly washed away all my accumulated stress.
A room key card is required for entry, so be sure to bring yours with you.
The Buffett
The buffet offerings were on par with those of any other five-star hotel in Korea. What set it apart was the added bonus of enjoying the view of the Han River.
Forest Park
The hotel is located on such a large site that it houses three hotels. Unlike those in the downtown area, there are areas for outdoor activities. One of these is Forest Park, which is a bit farther from the hotel and located at the foot of the mountain. It’s great for mountain enthusiasts, but if you're not into hiking, you can take advantage of the shuttle service.
The shuttle service not only goes to Forest Park but also to other hotel sites, such as the Pizza Hill restaurant.
While the shuttle is usually a Genesis, there’s a chance a different shuttle might arrive, so it’s good to keep that in mind.
Summary: Those who enjoy outdoor activities while having a five-star view of the Han River and a hotel vacation will be very satisfied. However, the interior of the room felt surprisingly outdated. The hotel is located far from the subway station, and because it's situated on a hillside, it can be inconvenient to walk around due to the steep terrain. Given the inconvenience for those without a car and for those who aren’t fond of walking, I would rate it 3 out of 5.
